ZVAKANAKA FARM - SELF CATERING BUSHVELD AND CAMPING ACCOMMODATION NEAR LOUIS TRICHARDT, LIMPOPO
Zvakanaka offers accommodation near Louis Trichardt for those seeking a romantic getaway for two, a delightful family cottage for four, a one-bedroom farmhouse apartment, a fully equipped caravan and a campsite and a campsite with five secluded camp sites – each site has its own exclusive shower and toilet facilities. The farm is a perfect stop-over for Beit Bridge, northern Kruger National Park, Mapungubwe National Park and Botswana border posts.
Zvakanaka Farm is 53 hectares in area and the three main vegetation types are grassland, wetland and semi-deciduous scrub-forest. There are numerous trails cut on the farm and, depending on how much energy you want to exert, you can either take gentle strolls or more serious walks to the very top of the mountain where there are stunning views in all directions. The bird-life on the farm is plentiful and varied – the cliffs, grasslands, forest and the wetland ensure a wide range of species.
Zvakanaka Farm offers 2 self-catering cottages - one sleeps 2 and the other sleeps 4. There is a self-catering farmhouse flat and a self-catering caravan. There is also an exclusive campsite with 5 private sites.
IGABABA CABIN
Although Igababa Cabin is particularly popular for romantic getaways, it is also popular for birders and nature lovers. Viewing raptors soaring above the cliffs from your bed is hard to beat and some of the guests have found birding from the outdoors double bath a very pleasant and unique experience!
MADALA’S COTTAGE
Madala’s Cottage is ideal for a small family seeking accommodation in Louis Trichardt. In fact we built it because of the demand for accommodation for children. But it is equally delightful for couples!
FOOK FARMHOUSE FLAT
Fook is a one-bedroomed, fully equipped self-catering flat sleeping 2 in a double bed. Own access and entrance.
KUBLA’S CARAVAN
Kubla’s is a refurbished, fully kitted out caravan sleeping one or two in a double bed. Own adjacent toilet and shower and scullery.
CAMPING
The 5 sites have ample room for tents, caravans, trailers and big rigs. All sites are private and separate and have their own exclusive toilet and shower facilities. Each site is electrified, has a
shelter with own sink, stove and kettle. There is a small wallow pool for campers, a wifi café with free-uncapped wifi, and a washing machine. All sites boast wonderful mountain views and are situated down near the wetland – far from the other accommodation.
